Digital Skills for the Future….
Increase your knowledge and build confidence with essential digital skills! SEDC, in partnership with Skowhegan Adult Education, is offering three modules designed to help you strengthen your technology skills and feel more comfortable using digital tools:
Module 1: Basics of Digital Safety and Windows 11 - 3 weeks
1:1- AI and Internet Safety: 9/17
1:2 - Frauds Awareness & Prevention: 9/24
1:3 - Windows 11 Computer Basics: 10/1: Learn the basics of using Windows 11 operating system. Setting passwords, users, passkeys, learn about settings, updating and organizing and customizing your computer.
You may attend one or as many classes as you like. If you attend 2 of our modules you will earn a refurbished laptop provided by SEDC from GiveIT
This class is held at the Skowhegan Adult Education building at Skowhegan High School.
1 hour class
A Windows laptop is required for class or you may use one of ours during class.
Be sure to arrive 10-15 minutes early for your first class. Call or text 207-220-7735 4 hours prior to class if you are not able to attend.
